ManicMongrel is the sole craftsmanship of Tick Dachshund, a 26-year-old queer freelance artist from the Northern Penninsula of Michigan. Tick has spent the majority of their youth experimenting with different mediums and forms of artistic expression. They joined the furry fandom officially in 2012 after crafting their first fursuit and have been hooked on the art ever since.

ManicMongrel boasts a rotating selection of premade goods including fursuits and adult fursuit accessories. Sales are operated through private posts on social media (Twitter and Furaffinity) as well as through auctions on The Dealers Den. As of 2021 Manic Mongrel now sells at conventions.
